Facilities

The site is divided into separate areas so that more than one group can be accommodated at any one time.

The Murrumbidgee Centre offers an air conditioned auditorium to seat 200 plus 3 breakout rooms and two small lounges. PA and sound equipment, OHP, video and whiteboard are provided and data projector is available. Accommodation is group (bunk style) or twin share (lower bunk only) with ensuites and heating in all rooms. There is also a BBQ area as well as outside recreational areas.

The original Cotter Centre was destroyed in the Canberra Bushfires in January 2003. The New Cotter Centre was completed in July 2006 and has 66 beds, three lounges and a 100 seat hall. Each room has ensuite with separate shower, toilet and vanity unit. Special provision has been made for leaders/teachers with three rooms configured without bunk beds and each with private ensuite.

The Main Dining Hall is shared by all groups with an area allocated to each group. Magnificent views from the balcony!

Also on-site is an oval with volleyball courts, outside chapel/camp fire and beautiful gardens with water feature for quiet moments. Take a short walk for a swim or a hike along the Murrumbidgee & Cotter Rivers or relax underneath the ancient Elm trees.

There is a public phone (no mobile coverage) as well as a photocopier and fax machine.
